WALKER, ALFRED "FRED" J. - 1936 - 2014 - Alfred “Fred” J. Walker, 78, of Ohio Road, Boudreau West, passed away at Dr. George-L. Dumont UHC on Sunday, October 19th, 2014. Born August 18th, 1936 in Fairview, N.B., he was the son of the late Thomas and Madeleine (Doiron) Walker. He will be sadly missed by two sons: Lowell (Linda) of Bolton, ON, and Michael (Laura) of Boudreau West; nine brothers and sisters: May, Irène, Gladys, Frances, John, Paul, Lester, Claude and Allison; four grandchildren: Andrea, Zane, Abygail and Amy; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Millicent (Brydges) Walker (1995); one son, Timmy (1986); five brothers and sisters: Jenny, Pat, Thomas, Frank and Maurice.
The funeral service will be held at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297), on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service. In memory of Alfred, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Cremation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac (532-3297).
