She chose life every step of the way, during the brightest of days and in light of its darkest moments. It is with great sadness and heartbreaking sorrow, that the family of Bridget Pauline Farrell of Marystown announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Thursday, October 9th, at the age of 70. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband William Sr. of 50 years; son, William Jr. (Karen Parsons) of St. Philips; daughter, Debbie (Al Linehan) of Creston South; Sisters, Eileen (Bern) Dooley of Marystown, Bernadette Dimmer of Burin, Joyce Lundrigan of Burin, Shirley Hand of Marystown and Maureen Lundrigan (Joe) of Toronto; brothers, Jim (Vine) Lundrigan of Burin, Mike (Jeanette) Lundrigan of Beau Bois, Ed (Bernice) Lundrigan of Burin and Bill Lundrigan of Alberta; 1 Grandchild, Andrew Farrell (Shawna Baker) of St. John’s; sister-in-law, Nancy Lundrigan of Burin and brother-in-law, Wilf Sheppard of St. John’s. She was predeceased by: parents, Bernard & Alice Lundrigan; brothers, Ray Lundrigan, Vince Lundrigan & Jerry Lundrigan and sister, Winnie Sheppard.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, October 13th, at 10:00 a.m., from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In Bridget’s memory donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Parish in Burin or flowers gratefully accepted.
