It is with great sadness and a broken heart that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Shane Michael Sampson on Oct. 19, 2014 at the age of 42.
Shane was the son of Sharon Mae and the late Joseph 'T-boy' Sampson. Shane was born in Sydney and lived most of his short life to the fullest in Louisdale. He worked in construction.
Shane is survived by his daughter, Kristin LeLacheur; brothers, Joey, Brian (Pamela Chaisson), Duane (Linda Doyle); nieces and nephews, Samara and Serena (Brian and Pamela), Travis and Cody (Duane and Linda), Skylar (Joey); grandnephew, Jaxon (Cody and Ashley). He is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
Besides his father Joseph 'T-boy' Sampson, he was predeceased by a brother, Carl Francis Sampson; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Annie Mae Sampson; maternal grandparents, Babe and Abie Libbus. Shane will be greatly missed by his mom, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 in the Glen Sampson Room, Louisdale from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. and Friday morning 9-10:30 a.m. Funeral mass will be held Friday morning, Oct. 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. in St. Louis Church in Louisdale with Rev. Callistus Abazie officiating. Burial to follow in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. A reception will take place following the burial in St. Louis Parish Hall, Louisdale.
