It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda Bursey (Barnes) announce her passing on Saturday October 25, 2014, at the Health Science Complex St. John's, at the age of 71 years. She passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family. She will always be remembered, loved and missed by her husband of 49 years John, daughter Michele Walsh [Mike], sons John [Susan] and Scott [Denika] grandchildren Ashley, Claire, Laura, Braidon, Brody and Piper. Her sisters Phyllis Cooper (late Ches) Doreen Brown (late Gordon), and predeceased by her brothers Les Barnes (Vera), Ted Barnes (Daphne). Sister-in-laws: Gloria Efford (Bob), Pam Squires (Albert), Maxine Tucker (late Nish) and the late Joan and Wilson Burry. She will be forever missed by a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater road on Monday, October 27 and Tuesday October 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 10: 00 am from St. John the Evangelist Church, Topsail. A special thanks to the ICU nurses and Doctors.
