Nancy Pearlene Paris, 66, Truro, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2014 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, NS, with family by her side.
Born in New Glasgow on February 18, 1948, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Ida (Jewell) Paris.
She was a member of Second United Baptist Church, New Glasgow. She worked at various establishments in New Glasgow with the latest being for the DND in Halifax, NS.
She is survived by her partner, David Deuville, Truro, NS, daughter Isabel Izzard Jr, New Glasgow; grandchildren Muriko, Mutriko Izzard, and granddaughter Muresia Izzard, New Glasgow; step-granddaughter Jessicia Deuville; step-grandchildren Danica and Mariah Deuville, Truro, NS; brothers: Allan, Thomas and James (Ann); sisters, Florrie, Peggy (David) Cosh; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by brothers: Barry, Johnny, Norman; sisters: Maxine, Mildred, Clara.
She was a very compassionate person. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Colchester East Hants ICU unit Truro. Special thanks to the Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro.
Cremation has taken place. As per Nancy’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Burial to take place at a later date.
