Lorraine was born on July 28, 1947 in Prince Albert, SK and grew up on the farm near Bellevue, SK. She lived her entire life on a farm where she put her incredible patience, attention to detail and work ethic to good use. Her joys included family gatherings, visiting over a good game of cards, curling, reading, puzzles, and her “retirement” at the greenhouse. During her last five years, she cherished every opportunity to spend time with her granddaughters. Lorraine freely volunteered her time to various committees including the local history book committee, the RM of Prince Albert, the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club and TOPS. Lorraine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A Celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 30 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church - 260 25 Street East, Prince Albert, SK by Father Michael Fahlman. Interment of cremated remains will take in the Garden of the Last Supper, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, followed by a social lunch in St. Joseph Parish Hall.
