HACHEY, PATRICK DAVID - Patrick Hachey passed away quite suddenly of heart failure on October 10, 2014, at age 70 in London, ON; son of the late Wilfred and Rose (Gould) Hachey of Saint John, NB. Pat leaves to mourn his wife Jeanne of 24 years; step-son Dave Ross and family. Remembered fondly by his first wife Mary of 18 years, in Victoria, BC, he was a dear loving Father to his beloved daughters Shawna René Hachey, in Burlington, and Keely Monique Hachey-Whitford (Dave), in Ottawa; he was a fun and playful Grandpa to dear, sweet Alana and Benjamin. Survived by his brother, Medric (Shirley) in London, and sister, Norma (Larry) Ryan in Saint John, NB; survived also by many nieces and nephews in Saint John, NB, London/Toronto/elsewhere in ON, and in NS. He was predeceased by his brothers Joe, Jimmy, Donald, and sister, Eileen (Morris) MacKinnon. Pat was a long-time employee of General Motors Diesel in London until his retirement. He will be sadly missed by family and friends and remembered especially for his quiet simplicity and ‘odd-ball’ humour.
Viewing was held on October 11th at Westview Funeral Chapel in London and was later cremated.
