Passed peacefully away on November 2, 2014 at the Placentia Health Center after a long battle with illness, Rose Gardiner (Careen) age 76 of Placentia, formerly of Point Lance. Predeceased by husband Leo, son Chris, parents Lawrence & Elizabeth, brothers Milton, Edmond & Allan, sisters Dorothy & Hanna, in-laws Patrick & Margaret Gardiner, brother in laws Ned, Edward , Tom & Philip, sister in laws Debbie, Alicia, Elizabeth & Laura She leaves to mourn sons Leo (Linda), Valentine (Judy), Allan (Theresa), Darrell (Debbie) & Russell (Tinelle), daughters Liz (Mike), Doreen (Jeff), Edwina & Gail (Marvin), daughter in law Lucy, grandchildren Eddy, Christina, Shawna, Melissa, Vanessa, Steven, Kyle, Briannia,Ryan, Jaylin & Melayna, great grandchildren Jarrett, Katelyn, Evan, Ethan, Dawson, Carson & Aidyn, brothers Kevin, Clem (Karen), Clarence (Judy) & Tony (Michelle), sisters Madeline (Michael) & Ida (Clem), sisters in law Gerti & Bernadine (Randal), Brothers in law, Jim Gardiner & Din Gardiner (Mary), special friend Laura Kitzke and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday November 4 from 7:00 - 9:00 & Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday November 6 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
