Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the Western Memroial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, surrounded by his loving family, Donald Michael Cross at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Shirley nee Caines who was the twinkle in his eye for 51 years, his 3 sons; Donald (Pansy), Darren (Tanya), & Dennis (Sandi), his grandchildren; Jessica, Julie (Winston), Jillian (Michael), David (Kerri), Jamie, Jason, Tara (Ryan), Brandon, Taylor, & Jenna, his great grandchildren; Kenny, Bradley, Luke, Natalie, Logan, & Sienna, his brothers & sisters; Melvin (Wavey), Margaret, Grace, Patricia, Brenda (Ronald), Jane (Robert), Lillian (Russell), & Diane, his mother-in-law; Mrs. Elizabeth Caines, his brothers & sisters-in-law; Clarence (Christine), Olive (Everett), Milton (Irma), Edgar, Gary (Donna), Terry (Christine) & Myra (William), Donald was predeceased by his loved ones; son; Dwayne, parents; Henry & Bride, great grandchildren; Aaron & Abby, his siblings; Henry, Stanley, Ronald, Julie (Winton), Gertie (Oliver), George, Doyle, & Dorothy, his father-in-law and Best friend; Byrant Caines. Also leaveing to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, on Wednesday, November 5th, 2014, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Thursday, November 6th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 7th, 2014, at St. Michael's & All Angel's Anglican Church on Farm Road, Deer Lake, NL, at 2: pm, with Rev: Canon: Louise Richards, with the burial to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight's Road, Deer Lake, NL.
