OUELLETTE, JEAN-LOUIS - It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the unexpected passing of Jean-Louis Ouellette on November 11, 2014 at his home in Quispamsis, NB at the age of 65. Born in Drummond, NB on March 22, 1949 to father, Anthelme (Thelme) Ouellette (deceased) and mother Noella Ouellette. He moved to Saint John at the age of 25 to work for Irving Equipment as a welder, a job he took great pride in and enjoyed very much. He was enthusiastic about everything he did, and was able to fix anything. A fact that earned him the nickname The Toolman. His motto was, "If I don't have it, you don't need it." He will be greatly missed by his wife Jackie (Michaud) Ouellette; daughter Renee (Ouellette) Greer; son-in-law Matt Greer; twin brother Jean-Guy (Ginette) Ouellette; sister Francine (Mike) Wright; brothers Bertrand Ouellette, Reno (Noelline) Ouellette, and Benoit (Sylvie) Ouellette. He was predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Ouellette.
Arrangements are under the care of O'Regans Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd, Grand Falls, NB, (506) 473-3063. Visiting on Saturday, November 15th from 12pm until 2pm, followed by a funeral service at St Michel Catholic Church, 1361 Rue Tobique Drummond, NB. For those who wish, memorial donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
