It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marie Jane Cook on Nov. 11, 2014, at the Central NL Regional Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor at the age of 71 years. Ms. Cook retired from teaching after 30 years. She was a member of the GF-W Heritage Society, Family Tree (Genealogy) Group, Retired Teacher's Association, Coin Collector's Club and Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Marie also enjoyed photography, rug hooking and collecting calendars. She was predeceased by her parents: Ralph and Lillian (Osmond) Cook; brother, Ralph Jr. Cook; nephew, Brad Cook. She leaves to mourn her special friend, William Leo Blackmore. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Louise Cook; niece, Tracey (Todd) Willms; nephews: Todd (Jodina) Cook, Brian (Rochelle) Cook; great-nieces: Jessica Cook, Nicole Martin, Taylor Cook, Tyra Cook; great-nephews: Michael Cook and Zachary Willms and a circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Randy Lockyer will conduct the funeral service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 with cremation to follow.
