Humphreys-Arthur William (Donnie) –age 76 of Yarmouth, (formerly Woodside) passed away November 13, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Arthur and Laura (Doherty) Humphreys. After retiring from Volvo he and his late wife Fern settled in Porters Lake for a number of years. He is survived by his loving daughter, Kathleen and son-in-law Jim Laverie, Yarmouth and son, Kenneth, Moncton, NB. Also surviving are his brother Robert (Anne) Simcoe, ON; and sisters Lola (George Cain) Peterborough, ON; Laura Fraser, Dartmouth; Kathleen (John Fuchs) Delburne, AB; and sister-in-law Phyllis as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Fern (Totten), brothers Reginald, James, Charles and sister Grace Myers; brothers-in-law Roy Myers and Sandy Fraser. No visitation by family request. Funeral service was held Wednesday, November 19th at 2 p.m. from Sweenys Funeral Chapel, Rev. A.D. Bill Newell officiated. Interment took place at Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery.
