DEWAR, KENNETH - At the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, on Sunday, November 23rd, 2014, Kenneth Ivan Dewar passed away peacefully. Ken was born in Campbellton NB, on March 31st, 1941 son of the late Daniel and Marguerita Dewar. Survived by his two sons, William (Billy) and Brent (Helen) McKenna of Fredericton, NB; two grandchildren, Gregory McKenna (Fiancé Ashley Peterson) and Tanya McKenna (Craig Moore); great granddaughter, Olivia McKenna all of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Dave (Effy) Dewar, of Fredericton, NB and Tom (Pat) Dewar of Campbellton, NB; sisters, Viola Smith of Glenlevit, NB and Roberta (Betty) of Arizona, US; many nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his wife, Melva (Rideout) Dewar; brothers, Billy and Roland (Butch); sister, Shirley Thompson.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian church on Charlotte Street, Fredericton, on Wednesday, November 26th, 2014 at 7:00pm.
