The death of Julian Richard (Rick) Green of Fredericton, N.B., occurred on November 22, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Born August 14, 1938, he was the son of the late Rev. Julian and Mary (Saunders) Green.
Rick spent over 40 years as a broadcast radio announcer.
Rick is survived by his wife, Patricia (MacLeod) Green; his son, Sean Green (Josée Green) of Fredericton, N.B.; his granddaughter, Pyper Green; his sister, Joan Green (Gary Guild), and his brother, Burton Green of Fredericton, N.B.; as well as several nieces and nephews; as well as Lorraine Perry and Donald Wood. He was predeceased by his parents.
Visitation will be held at Brunswick Street Baptist Church in the family room on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held at Brunswick Street Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 26 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Greg Geldart officiating. Reception will follow the funeral service in the gymnasium. Interment will take place at a later date.
