Robert 'Bobby' Ferguson

It is with deep sadness that we, the family of Robert Bond Ferguson, announce his passing on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late John and Florence (Bond) Ferguson.
Bobby was a member of MacMillan Memorial United Church, Catalone.
He was the owner of RB Ferguson Construction.
Bobby loved living on the Mira and took great pride in helping those in his community.
Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years, Mary (MacKinnon) Ferguson; children, Lisa (Joseph) Cashin, Mira, Colin (Kim) Ferguson, Mira, and Scott (Michele) Ferguson, Halifax; sister, Shirley Noseworthy, Mira; grandchildren, Michaela and Katie Ferguson, Halifax, and Sam and Abby Ferguson, Mira; step-grandchildren, Justin, Jillian Mae and Jenna Cashin, Mira; and sister-in-law, Hazel Ferguson.
Bobby was predeceased by his brother, Donald, nephew Robby Ferguson and brother-in-law, Robert Noseworthy.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Union Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, 1 p.m., with Rev. Emily Duggan officiating. Interment in the Ferguson Family Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to palliative care.
