Peacefully, surrounded by family, at her late residence on Monday, November 24, 2014, of Mrs. Kathleen MacNeill (nee Casford) of Douglas Street, Charlottetown, aged 88 years.
Beloved wife of the late Robert W. “Bob” MacNeill and dear mother of Blaine (Jean) MacNeill of Stratford and Kevin (Jan) MacNeill of Charlottetown. Kathleen will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Andrew (Michelle) MacNeill, Kristy MacNeill, Chris Cheverie, Denise Cheverie; great-grandchildren, Sully and Gavin MacNeill and Jack Flemming; and her special niece, Shirley (George) Marshall.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Mary (nee Monaghan) Casford; brothers and sisters, Calvin (Doris) Casford, Viola Casford, Jean Buchanan, Reginald (Mary) Casford, Jack (Thelma) Casford and Eileen (Thomas) Lund.
Resting at The Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until 9:45 Thursday morning then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
If so desired, memorials in Kathleen’s memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Provincial Integrated Palliative Care Program.
Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Members of the Holy Redeemer Parish CWL will hold a prayer service at the funeral home Wednesday at 4:45 p.m.
