December 22, 1940 - December 2, 2014. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Moran (nee Mason). Predeceased by her parents Bill and Alice Mason (Dadle and Macie) and two infant sisters Johanna and Anna. Leaving to mourn with the comfort of loving memories her husband, Hugh (Huey) Moran, her four children Robert, Rosalyn, Billy (Lynnette) and Denise (Jimmy) and step-daughter Christina. Loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren Jessica, Jennifer, Jackie, Michael, Marcus, Robyn, Jesse, Brooklynn, Keiley, Bradley, Gregory, Sara and Ian and six great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Emma, Eric, Maria, Mason and Morgana. Brothers John (Joan), Jimmy (Alice), Randy (Elizabeth) and Jerry (Debbie) Mason and sister Rose (John) Everson. Also survived by many brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews and loving friends. A heartfelt thank-you to sister-in-law Kay Moran (Manning) for her care and support during this difficult time. Resting at Cauls funeral home in Torbay on Wednesday from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Michael's Church, Flatrock. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
