Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday December 2, 2014, Adrianne Agnes Murphy (Nee Powers), of Placentia, formerly of Brooklyn, NY age 79. Predeceased by the love of her life, Jack in 2006, her parents James and Theresa Powers, baby brother James and sister Patricia. Leaving with a lifetime of cherished and loving memories are her children: James (Cheryl), John (Barb), Frank (Kathy), Theresa (Jeff Wade), Denise, Mary (Joe Best) and Dot (Darrell Smith), nine grandchildren Katie, Marcus, Michelle, Morgan, Jarrett, Kaegan, Haley, Jack & Brianna, also leaving to mourn her sister Arleen (Angelo Olivio), brother James (Linda), brother in law Pius (Beatrice), a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially her card buddies and dear friends Geraldine Browne, Theresa Gale, Clara Linehan, neighbor Pheobe & Bill Greene, and caregiver Shirley Hickey. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Wednesday from 6:00 - 9:00 and Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 9:00. Funeral Mass to take place at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater at a time to be given later. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
