LEBLANC, ROSA - 1919 - 2014 - Rosa LeBlanc, 95, of Foyer Saint-Thomas, Memramcook and formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Sunday, November 30th, 2014, at her residence. Born in Memramcook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Willie and the late Henriette (née: Ouellet) Gaudet. She took great pleasure from the time spent at the cottage in Cap-Bimet with the family; enjoyed baking, especially pastries; also in her leisure time, liked knitting and quilting. She was a member of Ste-Thérèse Parish. She is survived by two sons: Dr. Rhéal (Yvette) and Victor (Gisèle), both of Dieppe; two sisters-in-law: Exia Gaudet of Dieppe and Elizabeth Gaudet of Toronto, ON; a special niece, Suzanne (Paul) LeBlanc of Dieppe; five grandchildren: Josée (Nach), Patrice, Simon (Caroline), Francois (Josée) and Caroline; eight great-grandchildren: Olivier, Alexi, Georges, Anabelle, Bruno, Benoit, Elsa and Alec, as well as the several nieces and nephews. Rosa was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Alcide LeBlanc in 1983; nine sisters: Thérèse, Marie, Béatrice, Henriette, Evangeline, Jeanne-Mance, Julianna, Yolande and Alberta and also by five brothers: Hector, Jean, Camille, Vital and Louis.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Wednesday, December 10th, 2014 from 2 pm until time of service. A Celebration of the Word will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, December 10th, 2014 at 4 pm. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation “Tree of Hope” would be appreciated by the family.
