(1926 - 2014) of Bay Roberts passed away peacefully at the Pentecostal Seniors Citizen Home, Clarkes Beach on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Mr. Smith was 88 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family: Devoted Wife: Susan (Whalen) Smith; Children: Brenda (Paul) O'Dea, Byron (Donna) Smith, Hubert (Lorraine) Smith & Karen (Blair) Morgan; 8 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandchild; Sister: Kathleen Goldsworthy; Brothers: Gerald (Mary) Smith, Rex (May) Smith & Oliver Smith; Brothers-in-Law: Cyril Stokes, Clifford (Viola) Barter & Albert (Linda) Whalen; Sisters-in-Law: Evelyn (Clarence) Tuck, Joyce Barter, Ada Proudfoot & Audrey Whalen-Way; And a large circle of family & friends. Predeceased By: Parents: Malcolm & Emma Smith; First Wife: Doris (Barter); Sisters: Miriam (Levi) Peddle, Reta (Abel) Parsons & Rosalind Stokes; Brother: Clyde (Alice) Smith; Brothers-in-Law: Don Barter, Robert (Lucintia) Barter, Maxwell (Nina) Barter, James (Sue) Barter, Don Proudfoot & Rev. Canon Kenneth Goldsworthy. The funeral service will be held 2 P.M. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from St. Matthew's Anglican Church & Cemetery, Bay Roberts.
