It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Paul Joseph Parsons announce his passing on Monday, December 8, 2014 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness in his 61st year. Predeceased by father Joseph Parsons, mother and father-in-law Phyllis and Jerry Fisher and brother-in-law Wayne Sullivan. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife of 39 years, Yvonne (nee Fisher); sons Michael (Lisa Ring) and Andrew (Gina Organ); precious grandchildren Carter, Dawson, Emerson and Allie Drew; mother Kathleen Parsons, sisters Elaine, Janet (Mike Adams) and Shelley (Reuben Squires); brother Joey; sisters-in-law Elaine (Peter Noseworthy) and Carol (Bursell Bragg) brother-in-law Gerald Fisher; sister-in-law Geraldine Fisher; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. At Paul's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Caul's Funeral Home, TORBAY on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5-9pm and Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 10am-9pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday December 12, 2014 at 10 am from St. Michael's Parish, Flatrock. A family service will follow at the Flatrock Cemetery where Paul will be laid to rest with his father as his wishes. Donations in Paul's name may be made to the Janeway or Children's Wish Foundation.
