PETERSON, JOYCE - Joyce Barbara Peterson, 75, of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at home on December 12, 2014. Born in The Narrows, NB she was a daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Hand) Smith. She is survived by her husband, Fred; daughters, Kelli (Bob Goudey), Kimberly (Scott Lytle); sister, Sheila (George) Lawrence; sisters-in-law, Norma Smith and Judy Pelletier (Fred); brother-in-law, Arthur Scribner; grandchildren, Robbie Goudey (Mandi), Jordan Lytle and Kaylen Lytle; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, William, Thomas, Robert and Clyde; sisters, Gertrude and Alice.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 18, 2014 at 2pm in First Baptist Church, 100 Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth. Rev. David Watt and Rev. Gavin McCombie officiating. Interment will be at a later date in New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
