FRASER, GISELA ELSA - The passing of Gisela Elsa Fraser of Fredericton, NB, wife of Kenneth Fraser occurred on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 21, 1939 in East Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Gerhart and Else (Sehm) Geipel. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and the CWL. Gisela was a nurse. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed all sorts of crafts. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Gerry MacDonald (Tammy), Andy MacDonald, Stephen MacDonald (Christine), Tommy MacDonald (Becky) and Johnny MacDonald (Tammy); five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Ursula Deboch (Guido); several nieces, nephew and special friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Frank and brother, Aberhard Geipel.
A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 2 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating. There will be a reception to follow in the Fireside Room. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton Food Bank. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
