LANDRY, ROBERT - 1931 - 2014 - After a full and loving life, Robert Léonide Landry, aged 83, of Cap-Pelé, formerly of Parkton, passed away on Monday, December 22nd, 2014 at the Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. For 58 years, he was the loving husband of Yvette (Landry) Landry. Born June 22, 1931, he was the son of the late Valentin and Jeanne (Léger) Landry. Before his retirement, he was a welding instructor with the New Brunswick Community College for 32 years. He was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus, and was the Moncton Wildcats #1 fan. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, his five children: Roberta (Donald) Lirette of Cap-Pelé, Paul (Andy) Landry of Cap Pelé, Gisèle Landry (Bill) of Baie Verte, Daniel (Rosemonde) Landry of Moncton and Pierre (Josée) Landry of Grand Barachois; and his three sisters: Lucille (late Ernest) LeBlanc, Rita (late Aquilla) Donelle, and Géraldine ( Dennis) Owen all of Moncton; his seven grandchildren: Dana, Nicole, Mireille, Jean-François, Christopher, Stéphanie, Justin and his six great-grandchildren: Sheldon, Alyssa, Kayla, Amélie, Skylar and Étienne. He is predeceased by a new born son Joseph, his sister Yvonne and two brothers: Joseph and Camille.
Friends and family are invited to share good memories of Robert at Funaurium Frenette, 2642 Ch. Acadie, Cap-Pelé (532-3297), Sunday, December 28th 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm; Monday from 10am till departure for the funeral mass at Ste Therese d’Avila Roman Catholic Church at 11am. Interment will be in the Shemogue cemetery. In memory of Robert, a contribution to Tree of Hope would be greatly appreciated.
