GOOD, EVELYN CATHERINE (SMITH) - Evelyn Catherine (Smith) Good, wife of the late Charles Good, passed away at the Loch Lomond Village, Saint John, NB on December 24th, 2014. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Smyth) Smith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Evelyn is survived by two sons Donald (Carol Ann) of Fredericton and Gerry (Krista) of Havelock; two daughters, Marilyn Durepos of Baie Comeau and Isabel (Ron) Dykeman of Saint John; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother Alton (Essel) Smith; one sister Edna Jennings and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by her son-in-law Yvon Durepos, brother-in-laws Raymond Good, Roland Good, Lawrence Davidson and sister-in-law Dorothy Clouston. Evelyn was a stay at home Mom and in her spare time enjoyed knitting, crocheting, watching her soaps, reading and playing cards.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be celebrated from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst, on Sunday December 28, 2014, at 4 pm. Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
