1920 - 2014
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on December 23rd, just minutes before midnight and her 94th birthday on Christmas Eve, Doris Winona Gosse of Spaniard's Bay. She is predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Jessie Stone, Bryant's Cove; three brothers Roy, Ron (Mabel), and Alex (Alice);five sisters Rachel (Stamp), Nellie, Mary (David Mules), Alice (Jack Butt) and Ethel (Robert Gosse). Also gone before her are her husband Robert H. Gosse, mother and father-in-law Solomon & Agnes Gosse, sisters-in-law Emma and Mary Gosse and brother-in-law Charlie Gosse. Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Roy and Hunter (Shirley) Gosse and daughters Cherie Gosse and Jeanette (Gerald) Hiscock; brother and sister-in-law George (Ruth) Gosse and sister-in-law Bertha Gosse; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews at home and abroad; friends & neighbours. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 27th from 2pm to 9pm. A celebration of her life will be held at Holy Redeemer Church, Spaniard's Bay at 2pm on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Interment to follow at Maul Tree Hill Cemetery.
