LENIHAN, STEPHEN P. - We are saddened to announce the passing of Stephen P. Lenihan of Upper Kingsclear, on Sunday December 28, 2014 at the age of 46. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of Lynn (Curll) Lenihan and the late Paul Lenihan. Stephen began his career at the age of 14, working for Gerald Sutherland. He became a business partner in Sutherland Honda in 2003. Stephen loved the outdoors, and was an active participant in activities of all seasons including boating and snowmobiling. He enjoyed life of the headpond and spending time with his beloved dog, a border collie named "Tucker". Above all, Stephen deeply loved, treasured and adored his wife and daughters. Family was very important to Stephen, he loved his brothers and sisters very much. He is survived by his wife Lori; two daughters Ashley and Allyson; his brothers and sisters, David Lenihan (Joyceline) of Fredericton, Kimberly Lenihan of Fredericton, Tracy Gallop (Shane) of Saint John, Brian Lenihan (Hilary) of Fredericton; nieces and nephews, Rob Lenihan, Mark Lenihan, Cassidi Phillips, Nicholas Lenihan, Christopher Lenihan, Lance Gallop, Dillon Gallop, Luke Belyea and Sam Belyea.
No visitation by request of the family, a private graveside service will be held at a later date. As an alternative to flowers, donations to the Fredericton SPCA or the Fredericton Food Bank would be appreciated by the family. Bishop’s Funeral Home have been entrusted with the arrangements.
