The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague, on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, of Norman MacLean, a Second World War veteran, husband of the late Mary Christie MacLean (nee Bell), of Little Sands, aged 93.
Norman was the beloved father of Norman Jr., deceased in 2013, and Ronald; grandfather of Shauna MacLean; and great-grandfather of Gowan MacLean, all of the Yukon. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Edith Weber; nephews, Gary and Bobby Herring; and his niece, Darlene Pauley.
Besides his wife and son, Norman was predeceased by his brother, Malcolm, and his sister, Margaret Herring.
No visiting hours or funeral by personal request. A private interment will be held later at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
