It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Lillian Beatrice Gilley nee Starkes announces her sudden passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John's, NL, on Thursday, January 1st, 2015, at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Bruce (Wendy), & daughter Janine (Howard )Boone, her precious grandchildren; Bradley, Courtney, Anna, & Andrew, her siblings; Christina (Eugene) Collins, Mae Hunt, Pearl McNeill, & Edith (Arthur), Jacob (Pat) Starkes, Fred (Marilyn) Starkes, Rocky Starkes, & George Starkes, her brother-in-laws, Alex (Eileen), Larry (Mary), Jim Cutler, & Gilbert Gibbons, sister-in-law; Lavern Starkes, Lillian was predeceased by her husband; Joseph Gilley, her daughter; Christina her parents; Eliza & Stewart Starkes, her sisters; Jessie Cutler,& Yvonne Gibbons, her brothers; Stephen Starkes & Hayward Starkes, brother-in-law; Wendell McNeill, also leaving to mourn many nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from The Anglican Church in St. Paul's, NL, on Monday, January 5th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015, at 2: pm, with Rev Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Anglican Church cemetery in Sally's Cove, NL, to sign the guest book or send a message of condolence please visit our web page at www.parsonsfuneralhome.com.
