Ev passed away on January 1, 2015 after complications from emergency surgery. Evelyn was predeceased by all of her siblings. She grew up in Port Moody where she met and married Oscar. Ev and Oscar moved to Gibsons in November 1962. Over the years Ev enjoyed gardening, boating and travelling in their trailer. She also volunteered at the Hospital Auxiliary and Harmony Hall.
Ev leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Oscar; son Greg (Mandy); daughter Pat (Harold); three grandchildren: Jordan Pratt (Serena), Nicole Burnett (Alex) and Sally Hogue (Greg); and five great-grandchildren: Elsie, Sam, Owen, Addison and Ava.
