Albert Clark

Clark, Albert John CD, BA, BCL - Nov. 21, 1922 - Jan. 6, 2015 - Albert John Clark passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. He was a WWII veteran havingserved as a signalman in the Navy. After the war, he completed his law degree at UNB Freericton and then served for many years in the Judge Advocate General Branch of the Canadian Armed Forces. After retiring from military service, he opened his own law practice and provided legal advice to his clients until he retired in 1986. During his retirement years, he and his wife, Frances, spent winters in Florida and summers at the cottage on the Kingston Peninsula. Albert loved to meet and chat with people, friends and strangers alike. He had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to tell stories. He was the son of the late George and Margaret (nee Knight) Clark of Saint John. He is survived and sadly missed by his wife, Frances R. (nee Armstrong) Clark; son, Brian A. Clark (Betty) of Fredericton; daughter-in-law, Dr. Stephanie Brown-Clark of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Zoe Clark of Providence, Rhode Island and Max Clark of Phoenix, Arizona. He was predeceased by his son, David A. Clark of Rochester, NY; his brother, Joseph and his sister, Joy.
As per Albert's wishes, there will be visitation or service, however the family will have a private celebration of his life at a later date.
