CLEMENTS, MAURICE - 1949 - 2015 - Maurice (Mokey) Clements, 65, of Pointe-du-Chêne passed away at the Dr. Geroges-L Dumont UHC, January 06, 2015, with his loving wife of 28 years holding his hand. Born June 30, 1949, he was the son of the late Léo Clements and Rita Dupuis. He was a former employee of Paturel Seafoods and a freelance painter. He attended Our Lady of Mercy RC in Pointe du Chêne. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Peggy (Stevens) Clements; his sister Sonia (Gérald) Gautreau of Shediac; two brothers: Robert (Pierrette) Clements of Eel River Crossing and Frankie (Georgette) Clements of Shediac; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews; godchildren: Marcel Hebert, Cindy Petitpas, Breanna Porter; and his loving kitty Peaches. Maurice loved people and had a heart of gold. He enjoyed helping anyone in need. He loved a good laugh. His passions were spending time with both families and friends, meeting new people and deer hunting with his brother Bob at their camp on White Mountain. He was predeceased by two sisters: Sally Hebert, Rose-Marie Clements and by his precious little kitties, Princess and Tiger.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Center, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visitations on Sunday, January 11th 2015, are from 7 to 9pm. Visitation Monday January 12th 2015, from 10 am to departure time at 10:45am. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 12th, 2015 at 11am at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 11 St-Andrews Road Pointe-du-Chêne. Reception following the ceremony will be at the Community Center at Pointe-du-Chêne. In memory of Maurice, a contribution to the SPCA, the IWK Hospital or a donation of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
