It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roe Sasaki announce his passing at his residence on Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Patricia Sasaki, sons: Todd Sasaki (Krista) and Ryan Sasaki (Aynsley); grandchildren: Layla Green and Ezra Sasaki; brothers: Gary Sasaki (Heike), Wayne Sasaki, and Harvey Sasaki (Brenda); sister-in-law Laurel Sasaki, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Seiichi Sasaki and Ayako Adachi; brothers: Ken Sasaki (Ann) and Gordon Sasaki. In keeping with Roe’s wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer & Immaculate Conception, Mount Bernard Avenue on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Father Edward Terry. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society – Home of the Daffodil Place.
