FISHER
Helen of Powassan, ON, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2015. Born August 18, 1918 at Winnipeg, MB, she attended school in the Eriksdale district, and worked in Winnipeg until 1955. Helen married James (Jim) Fisher in 1955 and they farmed at Peebles SK until retiring to Moose Jaw in 1975. Predeceased by her husband John James (Jim) Fisher in 1991; father, Jim Walker in 1966; mother, Helen (Munro) in 1975; sisters Jean Reid, Mary Sever and brother Charlie Walker. She is survived by her son, Michael (Barb), and their children, Amanda, Justin and Robert of Prince Albert; her daughter Heather (Steve) Cobb of Powassan, ON, and their children John (Jane) Corbeil and Donna (Scott) Green of Hunstville, ON; five great-grandchildren; one sister Lorna Lewis of Morris, MB and two sisters-in-law Evelyn Fisher of Moosomin, SK and Mavis Walker of Winnipeg, MB; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral Service will be held at W.J Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Mr. Don Puffalt, Mr. Jack Reddekopp and Pat Romanufa will be officiating. Memorials if so desired to the Saskatchewan Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0W8. In living memory of Helen, a memorial planting will be made by W. J.
