Passed peacefully away at Presentation Convent, Cathedral Square, St. John's on Friday, January 9, 2015, aged 100 years. Predeceased by her parents John P. and Ellen Woodrow of Bay de Verde; step-mother, Veronica; sisters -, Alice (Matthew) Keough, Mary (John) Fortune, Agnes and Annie Woodrow; brothers - Jeremiah (Ethel), Clarence, Richard and Edward. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are: her sisters, Helen (John, dec.) Walsh and Bernadette (Peter, dec.) Fifield; the Presentation Sisters; many devoted nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends. Sister M. Monica is resting at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John's. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 11th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.; Monday, January 12th from 10:00 - 12:00; 2:00 - 4:00, and 7:00 - 9:00, with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Tuesday, January 13th at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
