LYONS, LINDA MAVIS ANN - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Linda Lyons of Oromocto, NB on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Jeanette Sacobie. Linda is survived by her husband Sherman Lyons of Oromocto, NB; sons, Terry (Meagan) Sacobie of Oromocto, NB, and Matthew Sacobie of Oromocto, NB; daughter, Mindy Sacobie of Oromocto, NB; sister, Shirley Sacobie of Oromocto, NB; brother, Efrem Sacobie of Oromocto, NB; grandchildren, Samantha, Roland, Terry Jr., Daniel, Sabrina, Jo-Jo, Alexis, Emery, and great-grandchild, Tripp. Linda will also be missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her sister, Jennifer Sacobie.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St., on Thursday, January 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday, January 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00 am with Fr. Antonio Reyes as celebrant. A reception will follow the Mass.
