GRASSE, RONALD PHILIP - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ronald Philip Grasse announces his death on January 14, 2015. Ronnie was born in Saint John on September 14, 1965 to the late Merva and Philip Grasse. Ronnie worked for the Town of Oromocto for several years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors. When he wasn't in the great outdoors Ronnie could be found at home in his easy chair watching the Montreal Canadiens with Whiskey, a german shepherd lapdog. Ronnie will be forever missed by his loving partner, Heather Ryan and children, Dustin and Amber Grasse and Jacob Ryan. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, Carter Foss (Karen) and Sheldon Foss (Linda); sister-in-law, Yvonne Caverhill (Pat); mother-in-law, Marie Boyne; aunts and uncles, Carolyn Moss, Glen and Geraldine Grasse, Danny and Bertha Grasse, Lyla and Don Percy, Sharon and Norman Clowater, Esther Gallivan (Charlie), James and Ruth Price, Lorne Price, Spencer Price, and Ruth Price and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ronnie will also be missed by his longtime friend and companion, Whiskey. Along with his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by aunts and uncles, Norma O'Donnell, Wavel Price, and Eugene and Erma Grasse and father-in-law, Walter Boyne.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Geary United Pentecostal Church on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mark Noel officiating.
