ARMSTRONG, BYRON - It is with heavy hearts, that the family of Byron Donald Armstrong, of Kars, NB, announces his unexpected death, which occurred on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the age of 65. He was the husband of Sharon (Day) Armstrong. Byron was born in Saint John, NB, on April 17, 1949, the son of the late Donald and Louise (Brown) Armstrong. Byron is survived by his much loved and cherished wife of 44 years, Sharon Armstrong; he was the beloved father to his two sons Stephen Armstrong and his wife Angela of Kars, NB, Matt Armstrong and his wife Melissa of Kars, NB; he greatly loved and was tremendously proud of his grandchildren Kristen, Luke and Tori, also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James Stanley Armstrong, who died at five weeks old in 1948.
He is resting at Outreach Pentecostal Church, 2129 Route 124, Hatfield Point, NB, with visiting on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Dwight Cole and Charles Kennedy, will be held from Outreach Pentecostal Church at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 19, 2015 and will be live streamed through www.SherwoodsFuneralHome.com, if you are unable to attend. Interment will take place in Bayview Cemetery in the spring.
