Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on January 15, 2015 at the of age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Bridget Byrne, his brothers, Pad and Gerald and his sisters Mary Shea and Anne Hammond. Left to celebrate his life with cherished memories are his devoted wife and best friend of 46 years, Rose (Power) Byrne; his precious son, Glenn and his treasured grandchildren, Dylan and Mackenzie Byrne. Also leaving to mourn his loss are his brother, Leo; his sister, Doreen Byrne and sister-in-law Rosemarie Byrne, as well as many members of the Power Family, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road on Saturday and Sunday, January 17 & 18, 2015 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. each day. A celebration of John's life will take place at Corpus Christi Parish on Waterford Bridge Road, on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 2 o'clock. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
