TRITES, MICHAEL F. C. "MIKE" - It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Michael F.C. “Mike” Trites, 45, of Moncton on Saturday evening, January 17, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Marilyn (Geldart) Trites of Moncton and the late Frank Trites (May 2004). Mike was employed with Purolator Courier, Moncton Contact Centre with over 15 years’ service. He enjoyed golfing, music, was a guitar enthusiast, was a New England Patriots and Toronto Maple Leafs fan, but first and foremost he enjoyed spending time with his son and daughter. In addition to his mother Marilyn, Mike will be sadly missed by his children, Benjamin and Emma Trites; sister, Lisa Trites (Trevor Furlong) of Moncton; brothers, Timmy Trites (Lisa Roy) and Andrew Trites (Jeanie), both of Moncton; the mother of his children, Nancy; several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass to Celebrate Mike’s Life will be held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church (340 Dominion St.) on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 10:30 am with Rev. Laurence Quin-Morris officiating. Reception following the Mass. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, in the spring.
