Passed away at St. Clare's Hospital on January 16, 2015, Eldred Winston Barrett in his 71st year. Predeceased by his parents, James and Erminie Barrett and brothers, David and Stanley and sister Julia. Eldred has completed this nuclear family circle being the final child of James and Erminie to join them in glory. Eldred leaves to mourn with heavy hearts and glorious memories, his loving wife of 24 years, Blanche, son Carl, grandsons Carl Jr. and Francis (Sharon Abbott), precious great-grandchildren Lucas and Taylor. Sisters-in-law Violet (Fred) Crane, Frances (Max) Crews, Brothers-in-law Tom (Linda) Hodder and Harry Hodder. Hospital file contacts sister-in-law Lillian (Wally) Duke, niece Donna (Jack) Kelly and nephew Douglas Barrett. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements by Lynch's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. Visitation for those wishing to pay respects will be at Lynch's Funeral home January, 21st, 2015 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Spaniard's Bay Volunteer Fire Department ,where Eldred was a faithful and longtime member. Service will be at Lynch's Funeral Home Wednesday, January 21st, 2015 at 3:30pm. Burial of ashes will take place at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Bishop's Cove Shore Road, Spaniard's Bay.
