Dorothy Greta Wheeler November 24, 1930 – January 13, 2015 - Passed away on January 13 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by parents Joshua and Ida Jenkins, husband Maxwell, daughter Evelyn, a young son Willis and eight brothers. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons George (Elsie), Ronald (Phyllis), Donald, Reginald (Elsie), Malcolm (Laura), Leroy (Ruby), Woodrow, John (Shelley), daughters Mae (Malcolm), Macy Ann (Wayne), sister Gladys Burt, 28 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a large circle of relatives and friends. Many thanks to the New World Island Funeral Home for your compassion and professionalism and to workers and staff at North Haven Manor in Lewisporte. Great thanks to Pastor Baine Andrews and Pastor Eric Ings for officiating the services and Pastor Hardy Troake with the solo song and sermon.
