Oldford, Kevin - 1956 – 2015 - On January 19th, 2015, Kevin Oldford, age 58, of Birchwood Dr., Bathurst, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst. He passed after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
He was predeceased by parents: Joe Oldford and Ethel Taylor, and one sister, Darlene. He is survived by his wife Leslie, his daughter, Blaire, and his son, Jamie. He is also survived by three brothers: Keith (Eileen), Gordon, Shane (Erva) and five sisters: Janice, Judy, Karen (Jack), Kimberly, Lori (Tom). As well as step-mother, Barb Oldford. Several nieces and nephews. Kevin worked for Keith Oldford Plumbing and Heating, Stone Consolidated, and for the last 20 years Eddy Group Limited. He loved working for Eddy Group and did so till the end of October 2014. His true passion was his home life, which was his children and wife.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the Extra Mural Program, the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation or a favourite charity.
