BECKMAN, BRIAN ALLEN JR.
Brian A. Beckman Jr., 24, of Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont UHC on Thursday, January 22, 2014 following a lengthy illness.
Born in New Britain, CT, USA, he was the loving son of Sandra Belliveau of Moncton and the late Brian Beckman Sr. Brian enjoyed sports, drawing and was always up for an adventure. He will be remembered as generous, loyal, kind, loving, he had the most beautiful smile and twinkle in his eyes but first and foremost, he had a strong bond and love for his son Bryce. Brian was born as if he had skates on his feet, he loved playing hockey starting at as a Timbit and playing until he was fourteen years old, he excelled in every sport that he played.
In addition to his loving mother Sandra, Brian will be sadly missed by his beloved son, Bryce; the mother of his son and love of his life, Jessica Melanson; sisters, Jessica Belliveau and Emily Belliveau; brother, Nicholas Belliveau; maternal grandparents, Oswald and Edwina Belliveau; uncles, Bruce Beckman, David and Robin “Rob” Belliveau; aunts, Donna and Brenda Beckman; precious niece, Madison Jade Smith; several cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. A Service to Celebrate Brian’s Life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, immediately following the visitation at 1:30 pm with Pastor David Way leading the service. A traditional Mi’kmaq Ceremony will take place in the spring of 2015 at the Beaumont Cemetery in Memramcook, NB.
