It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mom May Spark, late of Moose Jaw SK on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Momís greatest passions were gardening, sewing, knitting and doing jigsaw puzzles. She moved from Assiniboia to Chateau St Michaelís in 2007 where she enjoyed the freedom of no longer maintaining a home and could enjoy the activities at the Chateau. May was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Maria Thompson; husband Don Spark; parents-in-law Arthur and Amy Spark; friends Norman Lucas, Dick Langlois and Glen Scandrett. She is survived by daughter Linda (Brad) Wiggins; son Brian (Bea) Spark; foster daughter Rhonda (Larry) Rittinger; grandchildren Ryan, Brady, Chris, Dayna, Adam, Danielle, Carla, Ross, Beau, and Savannah; 20 great-grandchildren; brother Frank (Carol) Thompson; sister Evelyn (Ed) Brandt; brother-in-law Ken Spark; two sisters-in-law Ethel Forbister and Eileen Barrie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Chateau St Michaelís and the emergency staff at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of May to Chateau St Michaelís, 525 7 Avenue, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 8B6.
