Cecilia 'Sis' Rose passed into the hands of God on Feb. 2, 2015 at the North Sydney Community Guest Home, with her loving family at her side.
Daughter of the late Thomas and Jane (O'Flaherty) Woodfine; wife of the late
Maurice Rose.
Sis was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 19.
She is survived by her daughters, Cecilia (Brian McCrann), Ottawa, Ann, Sydney Mines; sons, Joe (Pauline), Montreal, Tom (Jane), North Sydhey, William (Kathy), Sydney, Patrick (Marjorie), Washabuck; sister, Anne (Cecil), Montreal; brothers, Thomas (Lorraine), Sydney Mines, Bernie, North Sydney; 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a daughter, Ellen, in infancy; son, Bernie; grandson, Joey; son-in-law, David; daughters-in-Iaw, Jane and Barbara; great-granddaughter, Julia;
sisters, Jose and Nell; brothers, Gus and William.
There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held Feb. 20th in St. Joseph's Church, North Sydney at 10 a.m.
