GARNETT, MICHAEL
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Robert Garnett on January 23, 2015 of Victoria, British Columbia, formerly of Quispamsis, NB
Michael is survived by his parents; Robert (Bob) Garnett of Saint John and Geraldine (nee Higgins) Garnett of Rothesay; Siblings, Kerry Garnett of Saint John and Peter Garnett of Alberta. Michael is also survived by several aunts and uncles; Edward (Ronalda) Higgins, Theresa Higgins, Claire Garnett, Deborah Perry, Burt (Willo) Smith, Pamela Penninger and Nancy (Norman) White, also by several cousins and close friends.
Michael was predeceased by his grandparents; William and Geraldine (nee Horgan) Higgins and LeRoy and Rita (nee O'Dell) Garnett and uncles; Richard & Bruce Garnett.
Born on June 20, 1982, Michael attended Quispamsis area schools and graduated from RCS (RNS). Michael was involved in many sports over the years, including speedskating, basketball, swimming and skiing. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Resting at Kennebecasis Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB with visitation on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from our Lady of Perpetual Help, Rothesay.
In lieu of flowers the family would ask that remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Mental Health Association, Lynn Childs Mentorship Fund c/o Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
