Passed peacefully away on January 30, 2015 at the Health Science Centre after a lengthy illness Ken Dyke, born on Pools Island February 16, 1940, moved to St. John's in his teen years. Leaving to mourn, his wife, best friend and care giver, Barb Baldwin, his daughters Michele Kirby, Mount Pearl, Susan Young (Dennis), Hammond Plains, N.S., Elaine Chaulk (Bruce) St. John's; step-son Ken Baldwin (Julie) Alpharetta, Georgia. Grandchildren Zac and Makenna Kirby, Josh and Olivia Young, Alexander and Samuel Chaulk, Jarod and Parker Baldwin. Brothers, Job (Stella), Herb and sister Josie and numerous other family and friends,especially the staff of St. Patrick's Mercy Home where he was a resident for the past three years. At Ken's request, cremation has taken place and no wake or service. Ken wished for his remains to be scattered along the Trans-Canada Highway, where for over 30 years he travelled this route with his work for Colonial Garage. Donations in Ken's memory can be made to: Newfoundland Cardiac Rehabilitation Association in care of Dereck Sullivan, 7 Grant Place, St. John's, NL, A1E 4Y9. St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements made be Carnells.

Gone but not Forgotten ... May he rest in Peace.
