It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Marie Fader, 45, of Sydney Mines, on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015.
Born in North Sydney on April 6, 1969, she was the daughter of Earl King and the late Ruth (Blackie) King.
Ruth is survived by husband, David Fader; her daughters, Natasha, Jessica, Ruth Anne and Alishia and stepdaughters, Cindy (Fader) Erikson and Kim (Fader). She also leaves behind her sisters, Yvonne (George) Stubbert, Marie King, Josie Tobin, Mildred (Davie) Forrester, Betty King, Sarah (James) Fader, Lucy (Blair) Deveaux and brothers, Joe, Eddie, Earl and Billy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews.
Ruth was predeceased by her mother, Ruth and her brother, Robert.
Visitation for Ruth Fader will be held today (Friday) Feb. 6, 2015, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines. A celebration of her life will take place Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Bras d’Or, with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating.
