William 'Bill' Campbell

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William (Bill) Alexander Campbell on February 4, 2015 at home in Pondville South.
Born in Florence, Cape Breton, Bill was the son of the late Edward and Agnes (Millar) Campbell.
Bill was a husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 48 years, Odille; his sons Sean (Daphne), Paul (Raylene), Joel and Marc (Cristina). He is survived by his six grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally and enjoyed, Owen, Keira, Maiah, Abi, Kalan and Isabella. He will be missed by his sisters, Lynda (Joe) McCarthy, Sydney Mines and Barbara (Stemmer) MacMullin, Florence and his brother, Raymond (Barbara) Millar, Florida.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Tommy and Lorne and his sister, Catherine, Florence.
Bill served in the Air Force before attending St. F. X. University and embarking on a teaching career from which he retired as Guidance Counsellor at Isle Madame District High, Arichat.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday at IML Funeral Home, D’Escousse. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 9 at OLA Church, Arichat.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Bill’s memory may do so to the charity of your choice or the breakfast program at Ecole Beauport in Arichat.
